Safe Space started as a dare. During the

scary and unpredictable time of

quarantine 2020, my acting and career

coach challenged me to create

something on my own terms. She gave

me the permission to create the type of

character I wanted to play but hadn't

had the chance to yet. I love wacky

characters, bizarre humor and

unexpected twists. A friend gave me

the idea of a couple who have 1 minute

to say everything they ever wanted to

say without any consequences. Out of a

dark and uncertain time was born

something that I needed to challenge

me, make me laugh and create with

wonderful friends. This film truly

became my personal Safe Space.
